  • Your primary job role will be to maintain and ensure that all machinery in the central cutting division is running efficiently at all times.
  • You would need to specially ensure that the Gerber machines are running at 100% efficiency levels at all times (during both day and night shifts).
  • Furthermore you would need to develop and perform operational maintenance and testing procedures for merchinery, equipment and systems.
  • You responsibilities will include Gerber efficiency, quality, the general maintenance of cutting, stores and the product development unit. In addition you will be responsible to ensure conformance to specifications, safety standards, applicable codes and regulations (Specifically 5 S standards).

 
  • You should be a Graduate from a recognized University and / or completed the City & Guilds Examination in Electronics Engineering.
  • You should also possess a minimum of 3 years work experience or should obtain a NDT with minimum of 5 years experience.
  • You should have a high level of skill in mathematics, judgment and decision making.
  • You should possess the ability to understand fabric, trims and garments with various finishes.
  • You should be a team player, assertive and pro active and capable of working under pressure.
