Our Client is a leading apparel manufacturer specializing in woven apparel for Men’s and Ladies. They manufacture various items including shorts, pants, overalls, dustcoats, etc. and export products to Australia and New Zealand.

  • Reporting to General Manager.
  • Optimize, implement and successfully manage production efficiency and quality standards.
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of the manufacturing process to assure best practices are maximized.
  • Manage the employment requirements and training of manufacturing staff.
  • Analyze and implement business process improvement/ development growth.
  • mplementation and administration of department policies, systems, and procedures.
  • Maintain and improve process efficiency and quality standards adherence.
  • Knowledge and practice of Lean Manufacturing and the ability to lead team to constant Lean improvement, kaizen.
  • Knowledge and practice of standup Modular cellular manufacturing.
  • Work with cross functional partners to build processes and structure to requirements.
  • To ensure on time delivery and quality of all operational process and products, documentation and Management of Polices and operational Manuals.
  • To take responsibility for the profitability of operations.
  • A good leader and team management.

 
  • Master/ Bachelors degree in Apparel and or Management.
  • 4-8 years experience.
  • Willingness to work independently with self-direction/self motivated.
  • Positive can do attitude, strategic thinker with analytical abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) and the ability to motivate and lead a diverse work force to achieve desired results.
  • Assistant manager with relevant experience is also considered.
  • Age 30 to 36 years.
