  • Your job role is to effectively co-ordinate the execution of product development samples and confirm orders on a timely basis and achieve the relevant pre defined cut/delivery targets.
  • You will be called upon to set and manage your T&A's and will be responsible for 100% approval on all fits.
  • You will coordinate & book capacity with the sample room and will research on latest trends.
  • You will also be responsible to liaise with planning to get the deliveries confirmed as per customer requirement.
  • You will be responsible for costing of styles and negotiation/confirmation of same with customer, keeping to the company margin targets.
  • You will need to monitor the required bulk out put with operations/planning team in order to counter develop if needed.
  • You will also be responsible for the preparation of material requirements on the ERP system and obtain procurement related details from the customers and pass it on to the Supply Chain team.
  • You will liaise with multi disciplinary teams such as Customers, Suppliers, and with internal teams such as members of Sample Room, Operations, Technical, Planning, Work study & Supply Chain.
  • You will be responsible to co-ordinate and conduct the Risk analysis, Progress and Pre-Production meetings on a regular basis.

 
  • You should possess an academic/professional qualification in marketing, whilst a qualification in textile or fabric technology would be desirable.
  • You will require a minimum of 2 years experience in merchandising in the garment industry and any exposure to other aspects of apparel manufacturing and or fabric and trims would be desirable. Working experience in a buying office would also be considered advantageous.
  • You will have the aptitude for effective communication and possess interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • You should possess the ability to understand fabric, trims and garments with various finishes.
  • You will display effective time management and skill prioritization capabilities and will be able to effectively work under pressurised circumstances.
  • You will be proactive, assertive and forward thinking. You will have negotiation competencies and be a team player who will have the capacity to work under pressure.
