Our Client is a leading apparel manufacturer specializing in woven apparel for Men’s and Ladies. They manufacture various items including shorts, pants, overalls, dustcoats, etc. and export products to Australia and New Zealand.

  • Monitor Quality assurance process of garment products to specifications and required standards.
  • Follow-up sample and new product development.
  • Technical sewing skills and knowledge for identification of problems and recommendation of solutions.
  • Maintain appropriate quality, compliance and factory standards.
  • Monitor and assessment of various quality records.
  • Coordinating with client for fit approvals, quality standards and technical issues.
  • Auditing the processes and implementing new systems when needed.
  • Managing the day to day technical activities and liaising between merchandiser, production and clients.
  • Management of QC Team activities and Final Inspections.
  • Periodic audits.
  • Should have good knowledge in garment production / quality / technical aspects.
  • Currently reporting to QA manager. Potential to become a quality assurance manager in future.

 
  • Graduate degree Quality Management, Textile or Business Administration, Quality assurance training.
  • 4-6 years experience.
  • Verbal and written correspondence to management and buyers in English.
  • Willingness to work independently with self-direction/ self motivated.
  • A good team player.
  • Computer literate.
  • Must be practical and knowledge of shop floor QC process.
  • Knowledge of fabrics, raw material inspection, patterns, cutting, sewing process, monitoring inline quality control, FRI.
  • Age 25 to 35 years.
