As Marketing Director, you will oversee a high-level marketing team, taking responsibility for the overall strategy and direction of this high profile FMCG consumer brand. You will man manage a team, providing leadership and inspiration and work closely with the board of Directors to determine overall business strategy.
You will be a outstanding FMCG marketer, with a background of working with high profile branded business. You will have proven leadership skills, and will have prior experience of Brand Director, or senior Marketing Manager level roles. Crucial to this role is an ability to lead and influence, both internally and also with external stakeholders.
- Develop and deliver a strategic plan that will achieve turnover and profit growth.
- Deliver organizational change and improvement that meets group objectives.
- Bring a commercial yet vigorous approach to decision making with the aim of identifying; developing and new products and markets, whilst ensuring current relationships are maintained.
- Manage the internal operations, ensuring their full commercial contribution to the business.
- Support the Managing Director in evaluating, developing and implementing strategic marketing initiatives within the 5-year business plan.
- Evaluate and propose the implementation of new product categories, develop and implement new structures and business processes to support new initiatives.
- Establish systems for managing budget and cost control, and monitoring advertising agencies media and service providers for marketing.
- Plan, commission and oversee market research to: identify targets and monitor market developments.
