This person will develop, implement and manage marketing & readiness plans/activities to engage breadth channel partners (Resellers, Independent Software Vendor, and provides these partners with the right resources to be successful selling & servicing Microsoft products and Microsoft-based solutions.

BREADTH PARTNER MARKETING
 
  • Develop overall breadth partner marketing plan for territory.
  • Develop & implement territory communication plan.
  • Marketing/Promotion campaign development, execution & measurement.

PARTNER PROGRAM MANAGEMENT

 
  • Implement partner program recruitment initiatives.
  • Implement segment-specific programs & events.
  • Determine and manage Sri Lanka  breadth partner local benefits and requirements.
  • Support partner research and data mining with program databases and query tools such as Partner Insight.
  • Develop partner communication plan.
  • Responsible for internal evangelism for partner programs.

DRIVE PARTNER TRAINING AND READINESS STRATEGY AND ACTIVITIES FOR ALL MICROSOFT PARTNERS, FOR EACH CAMPAIGN OR PRODUCT/SOLUTION LAUNCH.

 
 
  • Define and develop annual training plan and calendar for Sri Lanka, including support for GTM campaigns and product launches for each partner segment (System Builder, ISV, Reseller, Services, Channel Development).
  • Orchestrate Sri Lanka training activities including: expert workshops, hands-on-labs, sales seminars etc.
  • Leverage partner marketing and programs to promote and drive demand generation for all available training events and resources, including the Learning Center.
  • The ideal candidate for this role will be a resourceful, collaborative, results-oriented marketing professional who can be both innovative in their marketing approach while at the same time disciplined about measuring marketing/program impact and effectiveness.


  • Minimum 5-8 years of practical experience in marketing, communications or business development in the software industry.  Prior experience in roles such as program management, product management, software licensing, are highly preferred.


  • Strong project & process management skills are essential.


  • Data-mining and data analysis skills are essential.
