- Advising CEO & Board on financial & commercial implications of development project strategies, analysis of operational & financial data & advise on strategic business issues
- Develop direct financial plans to support the strategic business plan, company growth and market opportunities and business development
- Establish & maintain treasury management policies and procedures, ensure cash resources are available for business/ project development
- Provide guidance for setting up the overall planning & controlling function & developing proper supporting systems & procedures
- Enhancing the budgeting and forecasting processes whilst developing the KPI framework
- Actively engage with stakeholders, building relationships & leading commercial negotiations
- Balance sheet management & improvement of credit ratings thereby increasing investor/ financial intermediary confidence & acceptance
- High level of networking with Business leaders, industry specialist, consultants etc

Qualification
- MBA in Financial Management (desirable if the candidate is exposed to Business/ Asset Valuation, Risk Management & Control)
- Fellow member of a recognized Professional body - FCMA/FCCA/FCA (Preferred exposure in treasury management, tax planning, IT/IS management).
Experience
- Senior management/ director level exposure – a minimum of 5 years in a multinational/ regional environment (Desired experience in re-modeling organization-wide performance management/monitoring systems, continues benchmarking with industry practices)
- Total Management level exposure of 12-15 years
- Experience in Business plan/strategy implementation at a corporate level (Preferred High level Corporate Governance)
- Ability to understand and industry challenges & take entrepreneurial actions (Desired project management)
- Experience in strategic management & takes advantage of business opportunities
Knowledge
- Thorough knowledge of current relevant financial reporting regulations, governance & control requirements & other appropriate technical legislation (Preferred strategic planning and management)
- Experience in international/ Regional risk management (desired flexible management structure for strategy implementation)
